23/10/2008 - Photo Data continues it's Investment program with the purchase of a new Super High Resolution Mask Wiriter.
Despite recent poor worldwide economic headlines, Photodata today has defied the doom and gloom merchants by further investment into it's Photo Mask writing capabilities based at the Northern division of JD Photo-Tools. The new system comes on the back of recent quality improvement R&D work at JD Photo-Tools which have effectively halved the pixel resolution from 0.4um to 0.2um. This further reduces CD line widths down to less than 2um, and at the same time gives a four-fold enhancement to line edge quality, repeatability and accuracy. The new investment - the largest in the history of JD Photo-Tools - gives a clear sign of comitment to it's MEMS based customers.
