Large Format Photo Tooling

Our Large Format photoplotter is the only one of its kind in the world, and has the largest bed in Europe !

We saw the requirement for highly accurate films 3 metres x 1 metre for the Mobile Antenna market as well as for large back-plane boards, and from their we had a photoplotter custom built to suit.

With the emphasis on accuracy and repeatability, we also custom built a dark room area not only to accommodate the new plotter, but to cut and store the large sheets of film required for this service. Each roll of film is cut mechanically to the required sizes, it is then stored for at least two weeks to stabilise the film. With temperature and humidity control as a dark room standard, we can hold tolerances not seen before on such large films.

Our attention to detail continues with handling and packaging of each film, which has enabled successful exports to customers all over Europe, America and more recently Australia. Ever mindful of the customer’s needs, we've taken this new requirement and built a service that is unique.

Accuracy and dimensional stability - all you need to know...
Films that are not dimensionally stable can’t provide the precision and consistent results that today’s applications – and your customers – demand. The Agfa films that our photo-tools are supplied on have single-sided gel technology making the films extremely stable. They are 25% less sensitive to humidity compared to other suppliers – giving you an extremely flexible product that is less variable and allows you to work more efficiently.
